1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Any Router Admin Pro ("the App") accesses, uses, and shares information when you use its router administration and network utility features.
The App provides Wi-Fi information, network device scanning, and hardware manufacturer lookup features. Information accessed depends on your Android version, granted permissions, device, and the features you use.
2. Information Accessed
Depending on the features you use, the App may access:
- Wi-Fi information: The connected Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and related information made available by Android.
- Local network information: Network addresses and details of devices discoverable through the Network Devices Scanner.
- MAC addresses: Hardware addresses used, where available, to look up device manufacturer information through MacVendors.
- Technical information: If analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs are integrated, these services may process information according to their configuration and privacy policies.
3. Android Permissions
NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES — Android 13 and later (API 33+)
This permission supports Wi-Fi features, including accessing Wi-Fi network information and running the Network Devices Scanner. The App does not request this permission for the purpose of tracking your physical location.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — Android 10–12 (API 29–32)
These permissions may be required by Android to access Wi-Fi network names (SSID) and support the Network Devices Scanner on these Android versions. They are used for the stated Wi-Fi and network utility functionality, not to track your movements.
You can review or revoke these permissions in your Android settings. Denying a permission may limit the associated features.
4. MacVendors Service
The App may use MacVendors to identify a network hardware manufacturer's name, brand, or related reference using a MAC address.
When you use this lookup feature, the relevant MAC address may be transmitted to MacVendors to retrieve manufacturer information. Please review the service's website and privacy information to understand how it handles requests.
5. Firebase and Google Services
If Firebase Analytics, crash reporting, or other Google services are integrated and enabled, they may process technical, usage, diagnostic, or other information depending on the services used and their configuration.
For more information, please review:
If advertising services are integrated into the App, advertising-related information may also be processed by those providers.
6. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
- Display Wi-Fi network information.
- Scan the local network for discoverable devices.
- Identify hardware manufacturers through MAC address lookups.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
- Provide advertising or measure advertising performance, if applicable.
7. Sharing of Information
The App does not sell personal information as a standalone business practice. Information may be transmitted to third-party services when necessary for a feature, such as sending a MAC address to MacVendors, or when integrated analytics, diagnostic, or advertising services process data.
Third-party providers handle information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users and the App.
8. Data Storage and Retention
Information used by the App's features may be processed on your device. Information transmitted to third-party services is subject to those providers' retention practices and the App's service configuration.
The App does not guarantee that all information remains exclusively on your device.
9. Security
Reasonable measures are used in developing and maintaining the App to help protect information. However, no electronic storage system, device, or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is a general-purpose network utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information has been provided through a service associated with the App, please contact the developer.
11. Your Choices
- Review or revoke the App's permissions through your Android settings.
- Avoid using the MacVendors lookup feature if you do not want the relevant MAC address sent to that service.
- Review Google's privacy documentation and your device's available privacy and advertising settings for integrated Google services.
Disabling permissions or network access may prevent some features from working correctly.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated when the App's features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. Updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Please review it periodically.
